Dry verge roofing systems are there to protect your home whether it's from rainwater, damp or pests that may try to get it. Dry ridge comes mechanically fixed which means that each individual unit is screwed in for effective results.

It can also protect the particular area of roofing from wind uplift by completely securing both your tiles and slates. A dry verge system will stabilise the most vulnerable parts of your roofline so you don't have to.

Comes in variety of colours.

The Benefits of Using OSB Boards:

OSB Boards have grown in popularity over the recent past, due to the key benefits they bring to building projects of various sizes.

High Strength: OSB boards are designed with strength in mind, and they offer among the best performances from an engineered wood product, with a higher shear strength than plywood. This means they can be used in a wide variety of construction projects. Despite being made from

strands rather than veneers, they will give a superior strength performance to plywood and other products like MSB and chipboard.

Cost-Effective: Despite its great levels of strength, OSB boards will be cheaper than plywood, further making them viable for a lot of uses such as sub-flooring within a building project.

Strong Lifespan: The lifespans of engineered woods can often be a key drawback, but OSB panels boast a longer lifespan, offering 30 to 60 years of dependable performance. This further makes them a cost-effective choice, as they will not need to be replaced as often.

Sustainable: The wood strands used to make OSB boards are typically sourced from sustainable forests, with all parts of the log used to minimise waste.

Dry Fixing

Dry fixing, which has been in common use in Scotland for a number of years and is very much the quicker, more reliable option is considered to be best practice. It is important to follow manufacturer specifications for dry fixing of ridges and hips, particular in relation to such features as the

ridge batten.

Klober dry fix kits contain all the necessary mechanical fixings needed to comply with the Standard while products such as Roll-Fix, designed for universal use, can also provide ventilation at the ridge. As an alternative, the Klober Uni-Dry Ventilating Ridge provides neat, secure, maintenance-free, all-weather mechanical fixing for half-round and angled ridges as well as high-level ventilation. Fixing screws are not supplied by all manufacturers so care should be taken to ensure the correct type and length of screw is

Eaves Guard Felt Support Tray PVC, this 1.5m long Rigid Roofing Felt Support Tray, is a cost-effective solution for protecting exposed roofing felt or underlay at the eaves. When left uncovered for prolonged periods, UV rays from the sun will cause the roofing materials to degrade and rot over time.

Thanks to its rigid construction, not only will it direct rainwater into your gutters, the support tray will prevent ponding from occurring behind you  fascia boards, stopping the underlay from sagging between the rafters. These qualities make it a highly recommended addtion to projects where the fascia boards are being replaced. Roofing battens perform several important functions in a roof structure.

Roofing battens perform several important functions in a roof structure. They provide a surface for fixing roof tiles and carry the weight of those roofing tiles. They also help to support imposed loads caused by snow and wind, during construction, and they may even provide a foothold during installation, although we would only recommend doing this where the batten is directly over a rafter.

BS 5534 requirements for battens have not changed though roofing battens should be clearly and indelibly marked with the name of supplier, timber type, origin, size and stamped to confirm compliance with BS 5534.

Roofing membranes are strong weathering barriers installed underneath the roofing covering to reduce the effect of wind loading and provide a secondary barrier against wind-driven rain and snow. The most common types of roofing membranes fall into two categories, breathable and non-breathable membranes. While both provide the essential barrier needed to protect the property from unexpected water ingress, there are key distinctions between them.

EPDM waterproof coiled material is a kind of high elastic waterproof material with the best performance among the polymer waterproof materials recognized in the world. It is the most commonly used waterproof material in the worldWater material is one of the new chemical building materials promoted by the Ministry of construction. The EPDM waterproof coiled material of our company adopts the high polymer elastomer rubber produced in the worldRubber waterproof coiled material is the most advanced continuous extrusion vulcanization production equipment and process, which is controlled by computer and the process is stable. Strict material selection, advanced formula, according to ISO9001

The quality system organizes the production, and the whole production process is always under control to ensure the high performance and quality of the products, so as to make the waterproof coiled material more compact and bubble free.No vertical and horizontal performance difference. Product performance reaches or exceeds gb18173 1 -2012 standard, which has reached the advanced level of similar foreign products.EPDM waterproof coiled material has the advantages of single- layer construction, cold operation, light weight, aging resistance, long service life, high tensile strength and large elongation, and has great impact on the shrinkage andit has excellent waterproof performance, with a service life of up to 50
